Vision:

To imbibe the spirit of entrepreneurship in students and nurture them to be successful in preparing business plan to enter in a competition and help develop an idea into start up.

Mission:

To inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship by providing continuous support in all aspects such as information, awareness, sources of resources and enable them to acquire skills in converting the innovative ideas into business ventures.

Organized in the College for all students. 8 Batches of Students (48 members) were selected in AICTE organized Software & Hardware Hackathon.

About Entrepreneurship Development Cell

98% of the people in the world come from the employee background. But, most large multi-national companies are in search of entrepreneurs while hiring those who can work like entrepreneurs inside the organization & bring about major constructive changes; These employees are bound to succeed more than the ones following the conventional approach.

Also, now with India presenting a huge opportunity when it comes to starting your own enterprise it is important to have a good understanding of the opportunities and also having a mindset of entrepreneurial thinking. MRECW established Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) on 10th April,2012.

Objectives

To act as an institutional mechanism, to provide information and support to budding entrepreneurs.
To create Entrepreneurial culture in the college.
To act as an institutional mechanism,to provide information and support to budding entrepreneurs.
To inculcate innovative programs to entrepreneurship, through student projects.
To promote knowledge based support and enable them to promote employment opportunities in the innovative areas.
To respond effectively to the emerging challenges and opportunities proactively.
To function as a platform in providing information in all aspects.

Functions

To organize Entrepreneurship Development Programmes.
To initiate five innovative student projects each year for new innovative product development.
To organize Business Plan Competitions.
To provide technological & logistical assistance and awareness on Monetary fund sources to the prospective entrepreneurs.
To arrange interaction with entrepreneurs and create a mentorship scheme for student entrepreneurs.
